If you don’t have the time to read about my experience, allow me to sum it up for you! Exceptional, Quality, Empathy, Supportive! Don’t go anywhere else. I had a truly great experience here and wanted to share my appreciation. From the very beginning, the process was smooth and welcoming thanks to the kind and helpful secretary Barbara, who made scheduling my appointment easy and pleasant. I was on the search for a replacement mold. Other places told me that they couldn’t help me for X amount of reasons, specifically because I didn’t purchase the hearing aid with them. On the other hand I called Barbara about 5 times that day, to the point where she recognized who I was immediately. The patience in her voice was never ending! I told her that we needed an appointment ASAP, so we started at Long Beach and asked if we could please have our mold sent to the Huntington Beach location. Talk about solution based service! What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service from Sam, the technician. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and took the time to explain everything clearly, offering expert advice without ever making me feel pressured or “sold to.” It’s rare to find someone who strikes that balance so well. I felt genuinely supported in making the best decision for my needs. At our previous location the tech would tell us to figure out how to replace our mold. Sam said it was included with the service. Overall, I’m very grateful for the professionalism, kindness, and care I received. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for honest guidance and quality service! Barbara and Sam are both very helpful. Sam takes time to explain EVERTHING well. He takes his time, and is very personable. Barbara, whenever I left a message for call back, she always did promptly. She worked hard to get everything done properly. Was a great help to me. I would highly recommend them. Sam is, also, very knowledgeable.

Very meticulous and very competent. He really is very familiar in using the calibration software on the hearing aids he recommends that will suit your requirements. I am very happy with my Starkey Muse Ric 312. I use it mostly in listening to my Hi-End stereo system that cost several thousands of dollars to assemble. These hearing aids sound ultra high fidelity. I highly recommend them to all audiophiles that are losing their high frequency acuity. They do not clip (distort) at reasonably high listening levels.

I wish there were ten stars to give Sam, the Hearing Instrument Specialist (CA Lic. #HA7354), and his receptionist, Barbara. I called Ascent Hearing Center in Long Beach on behalf of my Mom who had requested of me to, please, help her get some hearing aids from a place her neighbor had purchased her hearing aid from and was so happy with it. I was able to locate that specific office. I gave a call to speak with Barbara first thing in the morning on December 9, 2019, Monday. She was able to fit Mom in to the busy schedule for the day. So many key details I must omit for sake of respecting this opportunity to give a review and not wanting to use up a ton of space, but the bottom line is, my Mom had her hearing test which indicated her definite need for hearing aids, and then was able to walk out the door that day with hearing aids! She could hear, again! Mom and I both cried as she started hearing what she was not able to hear for so long! The care of Sam and his receptionist, Barbara, was beyond what we have ever known for my Mom in trying get hearing aids. There is not enough that I could ever write here or say that would express the incredible team that Sam and his receptionist, Barbara, proved to be for us! I pray that more people will find out about this office that is right in their neighborhood. The service is beyond what anyone could ever imagine – the very best! I hope to get a hearing test for myself. All that took place for my Mom on that day encourages me to take care of my hearing now, and point anyone else I can to get a free hearing test with Sam and his receptionist, Barbara.
